... Seda Aznavour's signing of "Voch Mi Dzaghig" from her new album was the last song on the evening's roster of entertainment and the one that not only awakened the audience but was an unexpected and pleasant surprise for all who attended. She fully earned the resounding applause and appreciation of the audience who would have adored her performance as much even if her name was not Aznavour. She was probably the biggest surprise of the evening in the opinion of many whom this reporter spoke to. ...
... Her rendition of "Voch Mi Dzaghig" was beautiful, eloquently sung and energetic without being gaudy or resorting to too much instrumentation. It was a traditional delivery by a qualified by her less than perfect voice in a sea of instrumentation that seemed to domestic and define most of the earlier performances of the evening. Seda sang with fervor, gusto, confidence and utter enjoyment that exuded her and penetrated the defenseless audience, and any possible critic therein. Everyone was hypnotized by her charm and charisma. With the skill of a snake charmer her graceful and fluid body movements put the audience in a trance that was so comfortable that they did not want to come out of.

After "Voch Mi Dzaghig", the traditional Armenian song from her yet to be released new album of traditional Armenian songs, the audience was left with the disappointment of a kid who suddenly has the lollipop pulled out of its mouth. But, it seems her new album will be released soon through her upcoming website www.SedaAznavour.com. If she does give concerts in the near future, which she probably will, it will undoubtedly be an event not to be missed. We will be on the lookout because she proved the old adage that an apple can't fall too far away from its tree...
